VIDA Senior Resource Rolls Out Assisted Transitions Program For Seniors
Home care agency VIDA Senior Resource is now offering a personalized home placement program for seniors previously only available in Idaho.
Boise, Idaho (Vocus/PRWEB) -- With a generation of baby boomers reaching the age of retirement and special care needs, many children of elderly parents are now navigating the world of care centers and home care agencies. VIDA Senior Resource, a senior home care agency, aims to make that transition easier with its assisted transitions program.
The program provides family members with a facility placement specialist. This specialist will walk through the cost, location and senior care services provided at various assisted living facilities in order to find the best situation.
"We are educators, not sellers," said Justin Covillon, director of assisted transitions at VIDA. "We want everyone to be happy with their choice, so we will help you with any grants you could be eligible for, we will personally tour the facility with you and then go over all the benefits and downsides of each center."
After a test period where the program was only available at Idaho facilities, VIDA Senior Resource has now opened the program for its California, Colorado and Nevada locations.
"Many people feel pressured to make a decision on an assisted living facility, and then they later feel they have made the wrong choice," said Matthew Maes, director of communication at VIDA Senior Resource. "With our assisted transitions program, people can take advantage of our vast knowledge of all the surrounding care facilities. Then they can pick the best place for their needs."
The home care agency hopes that this program will allow people to take full advantage of the networking they have established as a business.
"We have already built relationships with all these facilities," said Maes. "Unlike other referral agencies, where they only work through email, we are directly familiar with everything at that facility and what they have to offer. This saves our clients time, because we've already done all the research."
