People Power Introduces Senior Care Technology With U.C. Berkeley

Trusted Circles provide delegated oversight and control of home care solutions by forming trusted circles of people to receive alerts and share key moments that reduce senior loneliness and isolation.

Notification Screens add the ability to distribute critical updates to a family about specific persons’ actions in the home supported with a chronological record of their activities for helpful insights.

Alarm Call Tree serves to alert caregivers, key family members and 24/7 professional monitoring services if a senior loved one falls, is unable to move, or fails to get up in the morning.

Photo and Video Sharing gives families the easiest way to share uplifting moments, bring people together with content that becomes part of a family history, without requiring a senior to interact.

Outreach Reminders distribute text messages to a selected person to contact a senior family member on a recommended topic with a personal message to increase a sense of connectedness.

In-App Resources equip caregivers with on-the-spot information, guidelines, resources and how-to videos that add to their knowledge and confidence leading to improved senior care practices.

The technology breakthroughs incorporate People Power’s patent pending machine learning algorithms that evolve constantly by learning patterns of behavior in order to warn caregivers about incidents of concern and potential hazards. Critical insights and alerts for caregivers include AI-powered fall detection, wandering notification, activity and sleep monitoring, and more.
