NC366A On-Site UHF Paging System
All information is transmitted at 9600 baud, eliminating bottlenecks caused by multiple patient calls. The information related to call type and room location will be determined by the system supplying information to the NC366A. The NC366A will prioritize the pending calls, sending the highest priority calls first. It will also send four distinct and different signals to enable the pagers to audibly indicate the priority levels of the call.
If the NC366A is equipped with a DTMF board (NC366AT), it will be able to send numeric messages from any telephone on your exchange directly to the pagers. The NC366AT can also transmit 50 pre-programmed text messages via telephone to alphanumeric pagers (10 messages come standard with each unit). Up to 9999 pagers can be supported. Both the NC366A and NC366AT also come standard with 10 dry contact inputs to transmit alarm messages 1-10.
The range of the system will depend largely on the site and location of the base unit. The base is supplied with a 1/4 wave BNC terminated antenna. To determine the exact range of the transmitters, a site survey must be done. Contact TekTone ® for details. For estimation purposes of a properly located NC366A, a range of up to one mile can be expected. See the instruction manual for additional details. Other antennas and signal amplification options are available to increase range. Battery back-up also available.
