Insulin Pump

The MiniMed 507C Insulin Pump features a solenoid motor that provides precise insulin delivery and is incapable of over-delivery. To assure optimum safety and reliability, more than 30,000 safety self-checks are performed each hour by over 50 built-in, independent software and electronic systems.

The pump offers multiple bolus options, including normal, square wave, dual wave and audio. Unlimited basal rates can be pre-set to begin every half-hour, and the pump's "Prime" feature provides true daily totals by tracking the insulin actually delivered to the body

Pump accessible memory capabilities include the last 24 boluses, seven daily totals, and the last 12 alarms. A time and date stamp improves record keeping while the long-term, downloadable memory provides access to 90 daily totals, 450 boluses, 50 alarms, 50 Prime uses, and the last 200 programming events.
