GeroServices Announces Radical Breakthrough In Supervision Training Resources For The Long-Term Care Industry
The GeroServices approach is based upon five years of consultation and research in over 200 facilities. GeroServices was selected by CCAP (the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania) to develop training materials in behavior management for long-term care facilities in Pennsylvania in 1998. Since then, GeroServices has developed a wide range of behavior management training materials and support services. The supervision development course is the first course in the series to be available as computer based training as well as newsletters and a web based learning community.
This course focuses on performance management. Performance management is the application of behavioral principles to staff performance and achievement. The course is part of a series entitled Lessons in Long-term Care. Future topics include: Team Building, Conflict Management, Transformational Leadership, and Stress Management.
