Evacusled is an emergency evacuation device for patients. Permanently stored under the mattress, it is available when needed. In the case of an emergency, the head and foot ends are easily pulled out and over the mattress and patient. Gravity enables the rescuer to easily slide the unit off the bedframe without risk of injury, and the mattress absorbs the impact when the unit hits the floor. Additionally, an integrated wheel system allows for ease of movement across the floor or carpet and the device slides down stairs smoothly.
