English Oaks Convalescent And Rehabilitation Center Recognized With 2019 Bronze – Commitment To Quality Award

Modesto, CA (PRWEB) - The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living(AHCA/NCAL) has awarded English Oaks Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center a 2019 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award. The award indicates that English Oaks has demonstrated its commitment to improving the quality of care for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This year, a total of 590 long-term and post-acute care providers across 48 states were honored with the award. English Oaks will remain an active Bronze recipient through 2022.

“Caring for our residents is a privilege that we strive to live up to in everything we do: through keeping our facility beautiful and clean, treating our residents and their families with dignity and compassion and delivering state-of-the-art care,” said Deanna Hill, administrator of English Oaks. “We are thrilled to have our efforts recognized with such a meaningful award and grateful for the opportunity to improve the quality of our care.”

The Bronze award not only acknowledges a job well done but also shows that the recipient intends to begin a rigorous quality improvement program. Recipients can maintain their active recipient status by pursuing the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award by 2022.

“The recipients of the Bronze award are making it their mission to deliver quality care for our nation’s elders and individuals with disabilities,” said Mark Parkinson, president and CEO of AHCA/NCAL. “This year, we have more Bronze recipients than ever before, and I’m convinced that because of their commitment, our profession will continue to grow stronger and make a national impact.”

“I applaud this year’s Bronze recipients for taking this important step towards quality improvement,” said Alana Wolfe, chair of the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Board of Overseers. “I encourage these providers to continue their path to achieve the highest of quality care.”

Recipient organizations will be honored during AHCA/NCAL’s 70th Convention & Expo, October 13-16, 2019, in Orlando, Florida. For a full list of the recipients, visit the AHCA/NCAL Quality Award website at http://www.ahcancal.org.
