The CareTone Ultra is a digital stethoscope designed to pass high quality ausculatation sounds over a digital communications lines, for use in hospital-to-hospital or other institutional settings. The telephonic stethoscope is designed to pass high quality auscultation sounds over both normal and digital phone lines for use in remote telemedic assessment of patients and medical education. The stethoscopes are comprised of two parts, the sending unit, containing a high quality chest piece, and the receiving unit. The healthcare professional may select either bell or diaphragm frequency sounds.
