Bed-Check Corporation was established 20 years ago ... and continues today to be the standard in fall prevention monitoring systems. Dedicated to patient fall prevention and restraint reduction, the Bed-Check System continues to be one of the most valuable tools for thousands of facilities throughout the North American continent in their efforts to prevent bed- and chair-related falls

DUAL ALARM
The Bed-Check System is compatible with virtually every nurse call system manufactured. When the Bed-Check System alarms, a call signal is registered at the nursing station as well as in the patient's room. The nursing staff can counsel the patient to wait for assistance.

AUTO-RESET
This safety feature for the nursing staff automatically RESETS monitoring 10 seconds after returning the patient to the bed.

ALARM DELAY
ALARM DELAY permits normal movement and shifting of weight in bed by the patient without triggering the alarm and causing false alarms. The delay, which is adjustable from 1-9 seconds, is the time the patient may have weight off the Sensormat before the alarm sounds

HOLD FUNCTION
HOLD allows the staff to assist the patient out of bed or administer to the patient without sounding the alarm. SENSORMAT

A disposable, pressure-sensitive mat, SENSORMAT, is heat sealed to allow for incontinent patients and is thin enough to be comfortable when placed under the patient's pelvic area. This mat is placed on top of the mattress, beneath the sheet and across the width of the bed.

PORTABILITY
The Bed-Check System is easily transferred to any patient bed or room. The control unit is lightweight and is easily attached to the bed with a velcro strap or holster out of sight and reach of the patient.
