A Tub That Fits
Tub rooms can vary greatly in shape and dimension. In order to accommodate all tub rooms, the Aquamax tub is available in sizes ranging in overall length from 80" to 90".

Extra Wide From Head To Toe
Aquamax tubs are designed for today as well as for the future. Extra width, a full 29" along the entire length of the tub provides better access for better cleaning and care. Virtually every tub on the market today is much too narrow to accommodate the increasingly heavier and more complex care. The lack of space becomes even more apparent when a transfer device is used, furher diminishing the usable space and making the bathing process uncomfortable and ineffective. Some tubs have recently been intrduced with the "keyhole" shape, unfortunately the extra space in these tubs is in the wrong place - the residents shoulder area. The majority of patients are widest in the abdomen and hip area, this is also where the widest part of the transfer device is located. The Aquamax tubs provide the extra space in all the right places.

One-Piece Molded Construction
A smooth, seamless joining of the console and body of the tub allows for easy cleaning. Most other tubs with their 2-piece console and body construction means a gap where dirt and debris can accumulate making cleaning and disinfecting a difficult task.

Manual Thermoscopic Mixing Valve
The manual temperature-set valve allows for error free tub filling and showering. This low maintenance, high-quality valve is pressure and temperature balanced and maintains accuracy to within 0.5 degrees of set temperature. It also features a manual lockout switch to prevent accidental scalding, in addition to a built-in over temperature shutoff.
