The RoomMate VT incorporates the traditional construction techniques of the Vertical High-Rise Fan Coil configuration with the convenience of an air cooled slide-out air conditioning chassis. The cabinet is "furred in" behind drywall and can be ducted to serve multiple room applications. In addition to fewer overall units in operation, air flow efficiency is improved, resulting in lower operating costs.
