Achieve Healthcare Information Systems, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is one of the nation's largest providers of integrated information systems and professional services for the industry. The Achieve team collectively brings more than 450 years of industry experience to more than 3,500 clients throughout North America.
Achieve is a division of the Health Quest Group. The Health Quest Group was founded in 1970. Up through 1993, Health Quest built and operated more than 22 Long-term Care facilities, including 3 Subacute units, 425 assisted living units and 275 retirement apartments. Health Quest also developed a 22,000 bed institutional pharmacy, a contract rehabilitation therapy company and a home infusion therapy business.
Achieve Healthcare Information Systems was founded in 1973. As Benchmark, the business focused on being a long-term care solution provider to its home state of Minnesota. By 1991, clients were being served nationwide. Health Quest acquired Benchmark in 1994, changing the company name to Achieve.
In July, 1995, Health Quest acquired Chesapeake Healthcare Systems. Chesapeake brought 5 years of clinical experience to the Achieve family of products and expanded the clinical application offering. In August, 1996, Health Quest acquired the Automated Research SystemsÂEResident Care System, a Windows® based clinical system. In September, 1996, Achieve merged with Genesis Business Systems. This merger added the GENECARE system and introduced PathLinks®. In September 1999, Achieve acquired the LifeCycles software group from PharMerica.
Achieve serves Subacute Units, Long Term Care Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities and Continuing Care Retirement Communities, including multi-facility chains and single-site independent organizations.
