This production, tailored for African Americans, looks back on a variety of childhood and early adult memories. While this visit will review some major points in the history of African Americans in America, it will also jog more personal memories. Church picnics and celebrations, families and some 'good old home cooking' will, of course, be included. The celebration will be highlighted by traditional songs which will prompt singing and warm memories associated with culture and tradition. "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot," "Go Tell It On The Mountain" and "Lift Every Voice And Sing" are just a few examples of the rich music mixed into this production. Favorite songs like "Amazing Grace" will also compliment this bright and enjoyable visit. Approximate Length: 46 minutes
